About The Monitor

Founded in 2023, The Monitor Magazine is devoted to deepening discourses around science, technology and health. Through short- and long-reads, the publication provides critical thinking to help you understand the contemporary world that little bit more. With an aim of diversifying the voices in tech and science journalism, The Monitor team is all female and non-binary and offers a platform for all early career journalists to get work published.

    EDITOR (she/her)

Tatiana holds a BA in Philosophy and has recently completed her MPhil in Philosophy at the University of Cambridge. Her research interests centre around the intersection of the philosophy of language and epistemology, especially in their implications for pressing social and ethical issues. Her Master’s Thesis investigated how Large Language Models might exacerbate gender injustice by reinforcing harmful patterns of attention. Tatiana hopes to further her interest in attention and the organisation of information, especially within the domain of digital technology.
